Asher is 4 months old!

Asher had his 4 month well-child check up today. He's perfectly proportional - 85% in both height and weight. He's a whopping 16lbs 13oz and 26" long! The doctor did also say that his eyes are not symmetric in shape, so we're anxious to see what (eye doctor) uncle Nathan says when Asher has his appointment next week with him. Our smiley little man is always so very content (so long as mama here does not consume even a speck of dairy) and continually loved on by his big siblings. He'll nap any time anywhere just as long as he's on his tummy and has full access to his thumb :-). We love you, Ash man!

If you give a toddler a bedtime...

...she's going to ask you for a story. When the story's all done, she's going to ask for it "again again again". When you finish it a second time, she's going to ask for a cup of "moak" (milk). When she finishes her milk, she's going to ask for a "back scatch" and "sing". When you finally leave her to her slumbers and she's out of your sight for the 10 minutes it takes to nurse her baby brother to sleep...

...she's going to find the hand cream.

"No Mama, I do it"

During nighttime snuggles with Savannah, she'll often roll to her side and say "Back scratch? Sing song." I say, "sure, I'd love to sing a song to you". I sing a couple different songs, but then without fail, as soon as I start to sing Jesus Loves Me, she says "no Mama, I do it". So I snuck the camera into her room to savor her sweet little voice. Don't worry, it's supposed to be pitch black. The lights are off in the room :-).
